On-site training in Maryland, Washington DC & Northern Virginia
CPR & AED Certification & Training
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen in any office, gym, or classroom, and the people standing nearby are the ones who decide what happens next. Our on-site CPR and AED class turns your coworkers into confident responders. One instructor comes to your location with every manikin and AED trainer your group needs, and everyone walks out certified the same day.
Who needs CPR & AED training?
Office safety teams and HR managers
Many employers designate trained responders as part of their workplace emergency plan, and CPR and AED certification is the backbone of that role.
Gym, pool, and recreation staff
Facilities built around physical exertion are exactly where cardiac emergencies surface, and many already have an AED on the wall that staff need to be ready to actually use.
Teachers, coaches, and youth program leaders
Adults responsible for kids are usually first on the scene, and pediatric CPR skills are a common licensing or program requirement.
Property managers and faith communities
If your building has an AED in the lobby, someone on-site needs to know how to use it. We train the people who will really be there when it matters.
Anyone who wants to be ready at home
If you would want to be able to help a family member or neighbor, this is the class that teaches you exactly what to do.
Certification details
Certifying body
Available through both the American Heart Association (AHA Heartsaver) and HSI, so you can match whichever certifying body your employer or licensing agency asks for.
How long it lasts
Your CPR and AED certification is valid for two years from the class date.
Same day cards
Certification cards are issued the same day you complete class, so there is no waiting period before you are officially covered.
What to expect at your on-site session
Setup
Your instructor arrives ahead of time and sets up adult, child, and infant manikins plus AED trainers in your space. You provide the room; we bring everything else.
Instruction
Short, plain-language lessons on recognizing cardiac arrest and acting fast, built around live demonstration rather than long lectures.
Hands-on practice
Every participant gets repeated compression and AED practice at a manikin station, with personal coaching on technique until it feels natural.
Skills check
Each person demonstrates CPR and AED use to the instructor, so you leave knowing your team can perform the skills, not just describe them.
Cards issued
Certification cards are issued on the spot, and we can provide a class roster for your HR or compliance records.
Group sizes and logistics
- Groups from 4 to 50+ are welcome. Larger groups practice in rotations so nobody waits long for manikin time.
- A conference room, break room, classroom, or gym floor works well. We just need open floor space where participants can kneel comfortably.
- Most sessions fit into a single morning or afternoon block, with evening and weekend dates available if those fit your team better.
- Want broader coverage? Many groups combine CPR and AED with First Aid in one visit.
